John  Fitzpatrick (Sam and Manu’s Boss) is an IT Manager who has reached the peak of his career.  He is a middle-aged married man who has attained the position of manager of a brokerage house.  As with many, a large part of his identity is wrapped up in his job.  He is very protective of his business and his employees, almost fatherly in his concern.  So much so that as scandal threatened to crack the highly polished veneer of his firm; coupled with the exodus of a couple of employees, to him it was comparable to the break-up of a marriage and the children moving out.
John is played by Michael Burnell.
