Carla
Chef Gina Carla from Rio de Janeiro, is a graduate student of
Culinary Arts at Grossmont College in San Diego. She has worked for Wynola Pizzeria (Julian), Bonita Golf Club, La Terazza Restaurant
and Hilton Hotel - La Jolla/Torrey Pines. In Brazil, she worked
with her mother, also a chef, who taught her how to cook at the
age of 6.
In TradeOffs, she was
responsible for menu planing, food production and purchasing,
recipe creation (magic with left overs!) and food presentation for
the scenes. The crews favorite treat ... carrot cake, Brazilian style,
with chocolate frosting.
